Teams that are diverse bring together their varied experiences and unique perspectives to create more relevant and impactful designs. An important strategy to effect change is to lead a design process that is inclusive and empathetic. You will hear from architects and clients on their experiences navigating through the profession and creating culturally inclusive places for community. Hear case studies on new student community centers at UC Berkeley, University of Denver, and inclusive design tools will be shared from master planning at North Orange County Community College District.
